Dr. Irby got me on decompression therapy. This stretches the vertebrae so that the disc can have room to breathe and the fluid can flow evenly through to allow nutrients in. The therapy didn't hurt, and I now feel much much better. Within two months, the pain was nearly gone. I didn't need the operation.

I was in karate, and began to develop back pain. I just ignored it, but it kept getting worse and worse. Some friends pushed me into going to University Place Chiropractic. When I came into the doctor's office, he asked me what my pain was from 1 - 10. I said 50!

Within a few months of treatment with Dr. Irby, the pain started to go down. Now, I can do everything again-I'm even back at karate. When I went back, my friends noticed a difference right away, that I was standing up straight.

My back is really, really strong now. The doctor gave me back exercises, and showed me how to stretch and strengthen my back. Chiropractic is not a quick fix, but it's about long-term wellbeing. But now, I really feel good.

When I first went to University Place Chiropractic, I could not get out of bed on my own. My husband had to pull me up and turn me over. My right shoulder was down, and left up, so I walked all one-sided. I had a hard time.

Dr. Irby got me on the decompression machine, and he really helped me a lot. I'd been in pain for a year, and within two months it was so much better. I'm 98% good now. I can move around, and my husband doesn't have to wake up at night and pull me over. I had surgery a long time ago - but only with the decompression therapy when he pulled it and continued on, the pain went away. The doctor had so much patience with me. He really made miracles.
